Making Life Sweeter - contin…

"...a failure to communicate."

Research also tells us that most people consume insufficient levels of saccharides. Just as substantial data shows that our bodies have become progressively vitamin - and mineral - deficient, most people are lacking in some sugars. While we get more than enough table sugar (sucrose) and high-fructose corn syrup, we are far from consuming enough of the plant saccharides we need for optimal health.

Necessary sugars are high on our bodies' list of must-haves. Every cell in every system of every human organ requires them.

The fascinating process of cell-to-cell communication is often illustrated by comparing it to the few simple shapes we use to form the letters in our alphabet. We combine these letters into almost limitless variations to form words, which are then assembled into sentences in order to communicate messages.

Sugars are necessary to form the shapes that construct the letters, words and sentences that express the "language" of our cells. Each words (or glycoform) conveys a message of its own, and virtually every cell in our body is coated with these glycoforms.

A Company of Destiny (Naturally!)

Mannatech was one of the first companies in world to recognise the importance of natural, food-based sugars in the diet and to provide these sugars in the form of easy-to-take, cost-effective supplements. In addition, Mannatech was the first company to apply for international patents based on the results of glyconutritional research.

Mannatech plans to remain among the glcoycmics industry's perennial pathfinders and leaders. We will continue to bring Better Solutions to Global Health to people everywhere.
